Wireless weather station
• The weather forecast symbols indicate an improvement or worsening of
the future weather conditions based on the current weather, which does-
n't have to correspond exactly with the weather indicated on the symbol.
7.4.1 Weather forecast tendency indicator
• The weather tendency indicator arrow shows if the air pressure is
decreasing or increasing. The upward arrow means that the air pressure
is increasing and the weather is expected to become better. The down-
ward arrow means that the air pressure is decreasing and the weather is
expected to become worse.
• If weather conditions have become stable for three hours, the weather
tendency indicator arrow disappears.
Notes to pressure sensitivity setting for weather forecasting:
• The pressure threshold can be set to suit the user's requirement for
weather forecasting from 2-4hPa (default 3hPa). For areas that experi-
ence frequent changes in air pressure requires a higher setting compared
to an area where the air pressure is stagnant. For example if 4hPa is
selected, then there must be a fall or rise in air pressure of at least 4hPa
before the weather station will register this as a change in weather.
7.4.2 Storm warning indicator
• When there is a fall over pressure threshold plus 2 hPa within 3 hours,
the storm forecasting will be activated, the clouds with rain icon and ten-
dency arrows will flash for 3 hours indicating the storm warning feature
has been activated.
8. Positioning of base station and transmitter
• With the foldable leg at the back of the unit, the base station can be
placed onto any flat surface or wall mounted at the desired location by
the hanging hole at the back of the unit. Avoid the vicinity of any interfer-
ing field like computer monitors or TV sets and solid metal objects.
• Choose a shady and dry position for the transmitter. (Direct sunshine fal-
sifies the measurement and continuous humidity strains the electronic
components needlessly)
• Check the transmission of 433 MHz signal from the transmitter to the
base station (transmission range 100 m free field). Within ferro-concrete
rooms (basements, superstructures), the received signal is naturally
weakened.
• If necessary choose another position for transmitter and/or base station.
• To wall mount the transmitter, use 3 screws to affix the wall bracket to
the desired wall, plug in the transmitter to the bracket (D2).
9. Care and maintenance
• Clean the instrument and the transmitter with a soft damp cloth. Do not
use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for a long period of
time.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.

9.1 Battery replacement
• When the batteries are used up, the low battery indicator appears on the
display (RX=base station, TX = transmitter).
• Please note:
When the batteries are changed, the contact between transmitter and
receiver must be restored – so always insert new batteries into both
units..
10. Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
➜ Ensure batteries polarity are correct
No display on
➜ Change the batteries
the weather station
➜ No transmitter installed
No transmitter reception
➜ Check batteries of external transmitter
Display "---"
(only use batteries/rechargeable batteries
with 1.5V voltage!)
➜ Restart the transmitter and weather
station according to the manual
➜ Choose another place for the transmitter
and/or the weather station
➜ Reduce the distance between the
transmitter and the weather station
➜ Check if there is any source of
interference
➜ Choose another place for the weather
No DCF reception
station
➜ Set the clock manually
➜ Wait for attempted reception during the
night
➜ Change the batteries
