5.2.2

Feature description:

Once the optional function is engaged, for it to be operational, it is necessary for the operator, when working near the curtain
wire, to grasp the vegetation and/or shoot support wire with his free hand at a MINIMUM distance of 15 cm from the cutting
point of the branch, i.e. from the blades of the shear.
DANGER
It is a mandatory requirement to always maintain a distance of AT LEAST 15 cm between the hand holding the
curtain wire and the branch or shoot to be cut in order to avoid a risk of injury to the operator's limbs.
Contact between the free hand and the curtain wire should preferably be through the use of conductive metal gloves.
Under these conditions, if the blade accidentally touches the curtain wire, cutting stops and the blade returns to the open
position, thus avoiding accidental damage to the wire and consequent repair costs.
Any other use of this optional function other than the above is not permitted by the Manufacturer and is prohibited as well
as constituting misuse of the tool.
The Manufacturer accepts no liability for damage to property or personal injury due to improper, unauthorised use of the
tool and/or use not in accordance with the operating instructions supplied with the tool.
DANGER
Depending on the characteristics of the operations to be carried out, improper use of the tool involves consid-
erable risks and is prohibited.
