Calibration of Lina MB, Lina PRO13-003 and MS

Update the sterilizer software before carrying out a calibration.
Be sure that the sterilizer is tight, and fix all leaks before calibration.
The steam diffuser plate must be in place and the chamber must be fitted with the tray rack supporting the upper
tray. All other trays must be removed.
From inside the sterilization chamber, remove the chamber bottom cover and the test connection cap behind it (see
also the REPAIR service document).
Connect the 1/4" extension tube to the pneumatic test connection on the back side of the sterilizer. Using the
pressure sampling rubber tube, connect it to the steam pressure input of the calibration device
On the calibration device, turn the model selector to the OTHER STERILIZERS position (see picture).
Using the NULL-MODEM female – female cable, connect the calibration device to the data port of the sterilizer,
located on the back side.
For the LINA MB, you must use the NULL-MODEM female – female data cable (see picture),
otherwise the communication between the calibration device and the sterilizer won't take place
Connect the power supply to the calibration device.
Switch the sterilizer ON. Insert a memory card into the calibration device. This will help you in analyzing the
calibration data, if needed.
Open the sterilizer door. From the start screen, select MENU – SERVICE – CURRENT LEVEL and enter the SERVICE PLUS code required to enable calibration.
NOTE: The SERVICE PLUS code is obtained by the standard service code, plus 1.
Example for LINA MB: SERVICE code is 200100, SERVICE PLUS code 200101.
Close the door. Use the UP and DOWN buttons and select TEST CYCLES - FACTORY CALIBRATION. Launch the cycle.
Wait for the message "CYCLE COMPLETE" (time required: about 40 minutes). The sterilizer is now calibrated.
Check and, if necessary, set the date and time in the sterilizer.
Check the calibration is effective by running a 134°C cycle and a 121°C cycle.
