FUNCTION OF PARTS
Control Panel:
1. Speed Control Knob
The image of rabbit means fast or high speed.
The image of turtle means slow or low speed.
Before driving the scooter, set the speed to low speed by turning the knob towards turtle image. Drive in high speed
when encounter an up slope, and drive in slow speed when encounter a down slope.
2. Self-Diagnostic Warning Light
Flashing light indicates there is a problem within scooter.
3. Power Reserve Indicator
The 5 LED are red. When all 5 LED are lit, the batteries are fully charged. When the number of lit LED decreases, the
batteries need to be recharged.
4. Throttle
Pushing the right Throttle moves the scooter forward. Pushing the left Throttle moves the scooter backward. Releasing
both engages the automatic brake. This is also your accelerator. The further you depress them, the faster you go.
Please keep safe distance when stopping to prevent any danger.
At base of Steering Tiller and Seat:
1. Tiller Angle Adjustment:
Push downward on the lever to adjust.
Pull up to lock Tiller Angle Adjustment at comfortable angle.
Seat Rotation Lever
Push lever back to rotate seat.
Push forward to lock seat in position.
Armrest Width Adjustment Thumbscrews
Loosen the two Thumbscrews to adjust the arm width.
Tighten again to lock the desired position.
Rear Body:
1. Rear Cover
Protects batteries from damage.
2. Anti-tip wheels
Helps keep the scooter from tipping over.
3. Free-Wheeling Lever
When lever is in the N (Neutral) position, the scooter can be moved without power. When lever is in the D (Drive) posi-
tion, the scooter can be driven. Normal position is D. You will find some stickers next to the lever, they will help you to
know the Mode of your scooter.
If you would like to change from Manual Mode to Automatic Mode, you must turn off the scooter. After changing the
Mode, you will be able to turn on again your scooter.
Keep in mind these rules:
-Release Throttle and allow scooter to stop completely before changing from forward to reverse or reverse to forward.
-Use the scooter only where it would be safe to walk.
-Use low speeds for reverse, downhill, ramps, curbs, or uneven surfaces.
Hill climbing: You may need to use a higher speed. Turn to lower speed before going downhill.
Down slopes: To proceed down steep slopes slowly, set speed control in proximity of the turtle. This enables driver
control, as the closer the speed control is set toward the turtle, the slower it will become.
