4.1 MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINE. GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS.
Before carrying out any operation on the machine
or the welding cables, we must place the equipment
switch in the "O" position (machine off) and
disconnect the power cable.
Intervention on the machine for maintenance and
repair operations must be carried out by specialised
personnel.
PERIODICALLY BLOW OUT THE INSIDE OF
THE MACHINE WITH COMPRESSED AIR.
The internal accumulation of metal dust is one of
the main causes of breakdowns in this type of
equipment, as it is subject to high levels of pollution.
As a preventive measure, the equipment should be
located as far away as possible from the welding site.
Keeping the machine clean and dry is essential. The
interior should be blown out as often as necessary to
avoid any anomalies or deterioration due to dust
accumulation. Blow out the inside of the equipment
with clean, dry compressed air. As a routine to
ensure correct operation of the equipment, it must be
checked that after blowing, the electrical connections
are still correctly tightened.
ATTENTION: ENSURE THAT THE MACHINE IS

The machine's vents must be kept clear. The
machine must be located in a place where there is
air renewal.

DO NOT TURN OFF THE MACHINE IF IT IS
STILL HOT.
If you have finished work, do not switch off the
machine immediately, but wait for the internal
cooling system to cool it down completely.
KEEP WELDING ACCESSORIES IN GOOD
WORKING CONDITION.
AFTER COMPLETION OF THE WELDING
OPERATION AVOID DIRECT CONTACT OF THE
WELDING CLAMP WITH THE WELDING
GROUND AND ALL OTHER PARTS
CONNECTED TO IT.
4.2 RECOMMENDATIONS TO REDUCE
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC) NUISANCE.
The user is responsible for the installation and use
of the welding equipment in accordance with the
instructions in this manual and the following
recommendations:
Before installing the welding material, you must
take into account the presence in the vicinity of:
• Power, control, signalling and telephone cables.
• Radio and television receivers and transmitters.
• Computers and other control equipment.
• Safety critical equipment.
• People with cardiac stimulators or hearing aids.
• Measuring and calibration equipment.
To reduce EMC nuisance, consider the time of day
when welding or other activities will be carried out.
Move potential victims of interference away from the
welding facility.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE MACHINE TO THE
POWER SUPPLY WITH AN EFFECTIVE EARTH
