Insofar as possible, cover the containers of product to be transferred to prevent its contamina-
tion.
Do not use the hoses to move the equipment by dragging it. Keep the hoses away from moving
parts and heated surfaces. Do not place them in contact with products that may affect them and
do not expose them to temperatures greater than 65
Insofar as possible, keep the container of the product to be transferred fixed and inserted into it,
the product return tubing (probe) (Nº 9 in Figure 1).
The unit has been designed for a long service life and can be used with most of the usual pro-
ducts on the market. Its use with highly aggressive products will quickly increase the need for

If the equipment is going to remain for a long time running empty, disconnect it from the general
air network.
SAGOLA recommends the installation of some sort of SAGOLA air
treatment equipment in the general compressed air network, in order
to optimise the operation of the equipment..

07. Functional description of the equipment

The DM BASIC Aluminium, DM BASIC 300 and DM BA-
SIC Abrasives pumps, as well as the DM 01/300 and DM
01/400 equipment units serve the purpose of apply the
products that are suitable diluted and usually used in
the construction, automotive, wood, plastics and other
industries.
The product to be applied is poured into the gravity tank
of the equipment (DM01/300 and DM01/400 versions),
it is kept in the same container it was supplied in by the
manufacturer (optional version of the equipment with ab-
sorption probe) or it is connected directly to the product
inlet of the pump (DM BASIC model).
From the tank it is fed by gravity into the equipment unit.
From the manufacturer's container, with the equipment
running and by suction, the product flows into the equi-
pment.
The product is shot out of the pump outlet of the equip-
ment through a product hose.
