USING THE SPOT CLEANER
See Figures 11 - 12, page 10.
NOTE: Do not use the spot cleaner as a dry vacuum cleaner.
CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury or damage and to prevent
the product from falling, always keep the product on
flat surfaces while in use. Do not place product on
furniture.
WARNING:
Always maintain the unit in an upright position when
vacuuming liquids or when the recovery tank contains
liquid waste. Positioning the unit on its side could allow
liquid to enter into the motor or battery. Battery packs
exposed to liquids can result in smoke/fire, serious
personal injury and/or property damage.
When using, monitor the amount of liquid waste present in
the recovery tank. Do not allow the amount of waste liquid
to exceed the max fill line. When the recovery tank reaches
full capacity, turn the unit OFF and empty the recovery tank.
WARNING:
During use, make sure the unit does not get submerged
or doused in liquid, which could cause shock, unit
failure, or personal injury.
Preparing for use:
 Furniture should be moved from the area being cleaned.
Place foil or wax paper under heavy furniture legs to
prevent bleeding from stained wood legs.
 Pin up furniture skirts and draperies.
 Move the spot cleaner to the area being cleaned.
CAUTION:
Water will drip from the underside of the product during
and after use and may puddle. To avoid damage to
wood and laminate flooring and to avoid potential slip
hazard, after use. Do not leave the product on wood
and laminate surfaces. Remove to a hard surface and
place unit on absorbent material (such as a towel) to
soak up drips.
To apply the cleaning solution:
 Insert the battery pack.
 Press the ON/OFF button to start the spot cleaner.
 Test spot cleaner on a small hidden area. Check for color
removal or bleed.
 Hold the pet tool at an angle and suction away any excess
liquid from the affected area.
NOTE: Do not use the spot cleaner to pick up chunky
messes.
NOTE: Always hold the pet tool at an angle when
suctioning. Suctioning power decreases when the pet
tool is horizontal to the cleaning surface.

NOTE: The cleaning solution is applied only while the spray
trigger is being pressed.

NOTE: If the motor begins to whine or if suction decreases
during use, turn the spot cleaner off and empty the
recovery tank as described later in Maintenance.
 When cleaning is complete, press the ON/OFF button to
stop the spot cleaner.
 Remove the battery pack and remove the spot cleaner
from the cleaned area.
 Empty and clean the recovery tank as described later in
Maintenance.
