Operation
Proceed as follows to mount the universal actuator in a false ceiling or wall:
•
Position the universal actuator at the desired location.
Mark the drilling points using the openings of the mounting lugs (B).
•
•
Select the appropriate screws and dowels.
•
Select the appropriate screws and dowels.
•
You can now mount the universal actuator over the mounting
brackets using the screws (see fig. 2).
•
Turn off the main fuse (see fig. 3).
Proceed as follows to install the universal actuator in a false ceiling or wall:
•
Turn off the power distribution panel.
•
Cover any live parts (see „2 Hazard information" on page 28).
•
Select the appropriate variant of the analogue output for the re-
spective device to be controlled.
For lighting in general, the 1-10 V interface (H) applies.
•
For other areas, such as cooling, the 0–10 V (G) interface applies.
•
If you are unsure, first select the 1-10 V interface of the universal
actuator. If you connect it incorrectly, the device will not react, and
no damage will be caused.
Loosen the screw on the sealing cap (J) using a screwdriver.
•
•
Open the sealing cap (J).
•
Wire the device according to the connecting diagrams in fig. 7 or
fig. 8.
•
Loosen the screw on the opposite sealing cap (I) and connect the
power supply (C), (D).
You can connect the relay (E) underprotecting the consumer di-
•
rectly next to the power supply (C), (D).
•
Wire the device according to the connecting diagrams in fig. 7 or
fig. 8.
If you do not connect a relay (E), insert the prop cap (F) for protec-
tion (see fig. 9). This prevents the cover cap (H) from bending when
it is screwed on.
