Auotmatic handheld transmitter lock
In conjunction with a Jarolift awning motor, the wind sensor automatically retracts the awning if the set
wind threshold value is exceeded for 6 seconds.
The close command is then sent to the motor 5 times, at an interval of 2 seconds.
If the measured wind speed continues to be above the set threshold, the wind sensor continuously sends
the close command to the motor at 2-second intervals, but for a maximum period of 20 minutes.
All other transmitters and the light control are blocked during this period and cannot be operated. This is to
protect the awning from damage due to accidental manual extension in the event of excessive wind.
The blocking of the transmitters and the light control will only be released when the measured wind speed
is constantly below the entered threshold value for 30 seconds.
The wind sensor sends the activation command to the motor 4 times at an interval of 5 minutes to ensure
successful transmission of the activation command.
SUN AUTOMATIC
As soon as the set light threshold is constantly exceeded for 10 minutes, the sun/wind sensor automatically
extends the awning. The open command is sent to the awning motor 5 times with an interval of 2 seconds
to ensure successful transmission of the radio command.
If the measured light value is below the set threshold for 10 minutes, the sun / wind sensor retracts the
awning fully automatically.
The close command is then sent to the awning motor 5 times with an interval of 2 seconds to ensure suc-
cessful transmission of the radio command.
SAFETY FUNCTION
The sun / wind sensor, when used with a Jarolif TDMF smart, sends a so-called "life sign" by radio to the
motor.
This occurs every 8 minutes and signals the awning motor that the sun / wind sensor is working properly.
If the awning motor does not receive a life signal from the sun / wind monitor within 30 minutes, this is
interpreted as a malfunction and the motor automatically retracts the awning.
If the awning is already fully retracted, the motor remains in this position.
Notice!
If the motor is in the automatic safety mode, the awning can be extended via a hand-held trans-
mitter, but it will return to its original position after 30 minutes.
In this case, check the proper function of the sun / wind sensor or replace it.
