The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not

exceed 85%. Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Place the

3.3. Working with the unit

Before starting work, check the insulation and the general condition of the

terminals. Using damaged terminals can lead to serious accidents!

3.3.2.

Cold engine mode

The device can perform measurements with the engine off in two modes: a quick

test "QUICK TEST", which uses the battery capacity, and an accurate test

"ACCURATE TEST", which uses the inrush current value.

The "Accurate test" mode should only be used if the inrush current value is

shown on the plate on the battery!

3.3.2.1.

"Quick test" - quick testing:

1. Connect the red clamp terminal to the positive terminal of the battery and the

black clamp terminal to the negative terminal.

2. Use the arrows to select item number 1 "BATT CAPACITY".
