Safety Instructions

• Clean the probe immediately after each measurement to avoid
cross contamination
• Do not use inside an oven�
Operation

Temperature Measurement

Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button once to switch thermometer

on�
Insert probe approximately 25mm (1") deep into the

foodstuff�
3� Hold the thermometer stable for an accurate reading
Units of Measurement
Press and hold [MAX-MIN/°C-°F] button for about 3 seconds,
1�
then release to alternate between Centigrade and Fahrenheit�
Data Hold
Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button once to retain reading, °C /°F
1�
symbol flashing.
Press [HOLD/ON-OFF] button again to release HOLD function
2�

Maximum/Minimum Readings

The thermometer can store and display the maximum and mini-
mum temperature readings taken since the last reset:
1. Press [MAX-MIN/°C-°F] button. The MAX icon flashes and the
maximum temperature taken displays on the screen�
2. Press [MAX-MIN/°C-°F] button again. The MIN icon flashes and
the minimum temperature taken displays on the screen�
3. Press the button again to resume normal operation�
Note: To reset the memory turn off the thermometer.
Always reset the memory before taking new readings to
ensure accurate readings.

Low Battery Warning

Replace the battery when the low battery icon
