1. Pull the depth adjustment lever (8) backwards to increase
the working depth.
2. Pull the depth adjustment lever forward to decrease the
working depth.

INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

• If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the
battery pack or the charger.
• Stop the machine and wait until the engine stops before
you install or remove the battery pack.
• Read, understand, and follow the instructions in the
battery and charger manual.
1. Press the button (19) to open the battery door (20).
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until
the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is properly
installed.
4. Close the battery door.
The machine only starts when you put in the safety key
(21).

REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

1. Press the button (19) to open the battery door (20)
2. Remove the safety key (21)
3. Push and hold the battery release button (26).
4. Remove the battery pack from the compartment.

OPERATION

To avoid serious personal injury, wear googles or safety
glasses at all times when operating the dethatcher. Wear a
face mask or dust cover at dusty locations.
