Safety measures

PERSONAL SAFETY

• For safety reasons, children, young people under the age of 16 and anyone who has not read
the instruction manual must not use the harvester.
• Whenever cleaning or maintenance is required, make sure that the electrical circuit is
disconnected.
• Do not use the machine in the rain.
• Do not use near high voltage electrical cables.
• There may be hot parts on the head during use. Don't touch them.
• Do not turn on the machine with the battery in charging mode.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

It is not allowed:
• Make changes to the machine unless authorized by the manufacturer.
• The use of non-original spare parts.
Such breaches will make any form of guarantee mandatorily expired.
• When using the harvester, goggles or a protective mask should be worn to prevent splinters
of branches or leaves from accidentally getting into the eyes.
• After use, it is advisable to clean the head of the machine from any waste deposited during
use, then store the machine in a clean and dry place, with charged and disconnected batteries.

NOISE AND VIBRATIONS

• Weighted root mean square acceleration value to which the hand/arm system is subjected, is
7 m/s (maximum value).
• Equivalent continuous A - weighted sound pressure level=81 dB(A).
• Maximum level of the C - weighted instantaneous sound pressure Lpc<130 dB(C).
SAFETY SYMBOLS (Pictograms)
Important signs for the correct and safe use of the machine are indicated by symbols (picto-
grams) shown on the machine, which is important to be kept intact, clean and readable. The
meaning of the symbols is shown in gure H.
