SAFETY NOTICES
• R ead the operating manual carefully before installation
and first use and keep it for future reference!
• Only use original Power tool holder e.s. tool concept
products. Otherwise the mechanical engagement will
be prevented, which may result in loss of the product
or product damage.
• Check the secure attachment of the cordless electric
drill before any use.
• Check that the Power tool holder e.s. tool concept is
free of contamination before any use. Metal work in
particular may lead to metal dust or chips adhering to
the product, which may impair the functionality.
• WARNING! The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept is
not suitable for extreme sports.
• WARNING! The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept is
not suitable for use on motorcycles and other
automobiles.
• WARNING! The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept must
not be used for other power tools such as circular saws
or similar devices.
• The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept is not designed
for the permanent retention of your cordless electric
drill.
• The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept may only be
used at temperatures between -5°C and 45°C.
• The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept may only be
used with a cordless electric drill where the battery is
wider than the handle. Stick-type batteries are not
permissible.
• When working at heights, secure your cordless electric
drill with the Safety Leash.
• CAUTION! When moving, be careful not to get caught
on obstacles with the Power tool holder e.s. tool concept
or your cordless electric drill.
• CAUTION! When attached to the Power tool holder e.s.
tool concept, secure your cordless electric drill against
accidental reactivation.
• CAUTION! The Power tool holder e.s. tool concept
contains strong neodymium magnets. Direct proximity
of the magnetic Power tool holder e.s. tool concept to
electrical devices or medical implants such as
pacemakers may cause these devices to malfunction.
Ensure that respective devices and precision-mechanical
devices do not get into direct contact with the Power
tool holder e.s. tool concept.
INSTALLATION OF THE BASE[B]
1. Before installing the Base[2], familiarise yourself with
the handling of the Power tool holder e.s. tool concept
and ensure its perfect condition.
2. Make sure that the release lever is pointing upwards
and that you can reach it easily.
NOTICE! Make sure that your clothes or other items of
your equipment do not apply any pressure to the release
lever.
3. Guide the belt through the designated slots in the Base.
NOTICE! Only use belts with a maximum width of 40 mm
and thickness of 4 mm.
NOTICE! Do not try to force the belt through the Base!
Too tight a fit can damage the belt or the Base!
4. Move the Base along the belt as desired by forming a
loop in the middle between the two slots.
NOTICE! After tightening the loop, the Base can no longer
be moved!
INSTALLATION OF THE CONNECTOR[C]
1. Before installing the Connector[3], familiarise yourself
with the handling of the Power tool holder e.s. tool
concept and ensure its perfect condition.
2. Place the tab of the Connector around the handle of
your cordless electric drill and pull the opening over the

ball head.
NOTICE! No other tab position is permissible.
NOTICE! Do not use any tools to pull on the tab.
NOTICE! Only use cordless electric drills with a handle
circumference of 12 cm. Cordless electric drills with a
different handle circumference are not permissible.
3. Ensure the tight fit of the Connector. The Connector is
correctly attached when the opening in the tab is
completely laid around the fixing cone.
NOTICE! Non-observation may result in the cordless
electric drill coming loose.
NOTICE! Stick-type batteries are not permissible.
INSTALLATION OF THE SAFETY LEASH[D]
When working at heights, use the Safety Leash to secure
your cordless electric drill. Should your tool slip out of your
hand, the leash will prevent it from falling. Make sure that
there are no persons within a radius of 2 m next to or below
you. Otherwise they may be injured by the swinging tool.
The Leash is only suitable for tools with a maximum weight
of 2 kg. The Leash must not be used to secure people or
loads. The Leash is not suitable for lifting tools or
construction material.
1. Before installing the Safety Leash[1], familiarise yourself
with the handling of the Power tool holder e.s. tool
concept and ensure the perfect condition of the Safety
Leash.
NOTICE! Replace the Safety Leash if solvents, paints,
lubricants, varnishes, plaster or cement have soaked
into the Safety Leash.
2. Loop the Safety Leash around the handle of your cordless
electric drill.
NOTICE! Stick-type batteries are not permissible.
NOTICE! Make sure that the cord of the Safety Leash
does not prevent the Connector from engaging with the
Base.
3. Ensure its correct fit by gently pulling on the Safety
Leash.
4. Pull the retaining loop of the Safety Leash through your
belt to secure it.
NOTICE! The belt must be firmly threaded through the
belt loops of your trousers.
NOTICE! The belt buckle must have sufficient strength
and must be suited for the use of the Safety Leash.
NOTICE! The tool can only be secured by the Safety
Leash with the belt buckle closed.
USE
Connecting Base and Connector[E]
1. Before initial use, familiarise yourself with the handling
of the Power tool holder e.s. tool concept and ensure
its perfect functionality. Ensure correct installation.
2. Guide your cordless electric drill with the fixing cone of
the Connector[3] into the round cut-out of the Base [2].
CAUTION! Ensure that neither your fingers nor other
body parts may get caught between Base and Connector.
CAUTION! Ensure that there are neither clothing nor
other objects between Base and Connector. Non-
observation will result in an insufficient retention force
on the cordless electric drill and may lead to its loss.
3. Slide down the cordless electric drill in a controlled
manner. The cordless electric drill with the Connector
audibly engages in the Base mechanically.
4. Pull gently to check for correct engagement.
Disconnecting Base and Connector[F]
1. Push the release lever away from the body and pull the
cordless electric drill upwards.
CAUTION! Make sure to hold your cordless electric drill
firmly in your hand when fastening and releasing it from
the Base.
NOTICE! After releasing the release lever, you will hear
another click. If this is not the case, it indicates that the
