INSTRUCTIONS
• In order to open the safe for the first time, see point:
1. "Opening for the first time".
• For subsequent openings of the safe, enter an
opening code and then turn the key. Initially the
programmed code is 1234. To discover how to open
and close the safe, see point:
2. "Opening and closing the safe".
• For security reasons, it is important to change the
initial code and introduce a personal number decided
by you. The new code can have 1 to 12 digits. To
discover how to change the code, see point:
3. "Changing the opening code".
• In order to activate the opening delay function,
see item:
4. "Opening delay function".
• If any anomaly occurs, if the batteries go flat for
example, the safe has an emergency key and an
external battery charger that will solve the problem.
See point: 5. "Emergency opening" and 6. "Use
of the external battery charger".
In any case, in order to avoid the batteries going
flat, see point:
7. "Condition of the battery indicator".
• Do not remove the identification sticker with the
safe number that you will find on the front of the
safe and at the beginning of these instructions,
since you will need it in order to request emergency
openings, spare parts etc.
WARNING:
Each time a key is pressed, the safe emits a short
beep, which means that it was pressed correctly.
If more than 15 seconds pass between pressing
two keys, the safe will close. In this event, repeat
the process.
1. OPENING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
When opening the safe for the first time, proceed in the
following manner:
• Put the emergency key, which is in the envelope, into
the lock.
• Turn it half a turn to the right (clockwise).
• Then turn it a half turn to the left (original position) and
remove the key.
• Open the safe with the usual key (2 half turns to the
right).
In order to function, the safe needs 4 x 1.5 V alkaline
batteries that are placed in the battery holder located
at the back of the door. In order to insert them, open
the cover of the battery holder and place the batteries
according to the diagram that is found on the inside. On
completion of this process the electronic system will be
activated.
To close the safe, simply turn the key 2 half turns to the
left (anti-clockwise).
2. OPENING AND CLOSING THE SAFE:
• Press the ON key. The display will show "----"
• Type your personal code of opening. The display will
show the digits a you type the password. Whenever you
type a wrong code during the process, you will be able to
enter it again by pressing ON.

correct, the display will show "OPEN" for five seconds

incorrect code entries before becoming blocked for 15

a beep every 5 seconds. During this time, the keyboard
will remain locked and display "HOLD".
Whenever you do not wish, during the opening, that the
access code shows in the display, proceed as follows:
• Press the ON key. The display will show "----". Press
again the ON key. The display will show "____" again.

3. CHANGING THE OPENING CODE:
The initial opening code for the safe is 1 2 3 4. To change
it, proceed in the following manner:
• Open the safe and do not close it until the process has
been concluded.
• Introduce a blunt object (e.g. a pen) into the circular
hole that is on the back of the door, until it reaches its
limit. The safe emits a long beep at the beginning of the
changing process. The display will show "----"
• Enter the new code that you have chosen. Remember
that it must have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 12
digits. The display will show the digits you typed.
• Press the
