• The display will show "REPEAT". Enter your new code for
a second time. This way the system checks that there
was no involuntary error the first time it was entered.
• Press the
key again.
The safe will send out a long beep of acceptance, and
the display will show "YES" whenever the process has
been correctly completed. In case of error, it will send
out four short beeps and the display will show "ERROR".
In this second case the opening code has not been
changed and you will have to repeat the process.
4. OPENING DELAY FUNCTION:
This safe possesses a delay system, which adds a delay
from the moment where the opening code is introduced
up to the opening becomes effective (from 01 up to 99
minutes).
4.1 Delay function activation:
• Input user code: ON USER CODE (XXXX) ENTER
• Within the following 5 seconds, input: ON 789 ENTER
The word DELAY will appear on the screen
• Input the number of minutes the safe will take in order to
unblock itself from the moment you input your opening
code, by the means of a value with 2 digits from 01 up
to 99.
• The activation is successful. Within the last minute of
delay, a countdown will appear on the screen prior to
unblocking itself.
4.2 Delay function deactivation:
• Input user code: ON USER CODE (XXXX) ENTER
• Within the following 5 seconds, input: ON 789 ENTER
The word DELAY will appear on the screen
• Input 00 in order to deactivate the delay function.
5. EMERGENCY OPENING:
Together with these instructions an envelope is
provided which contains:
5.1. An emergency key:
In case you do not remember your opening code, or
the safe suffers some anomaly, such as the batteries
going flat, etc., you can open the safe by means of an
emergency key.
To do this, proceed in the following manner:
• Put the emergency key in the lock.
• Turn it half a turn towards the right (clockwise).
• Then turn it half a turn towards the left (initial position)
and remove the key.
• Open the safe with the normal key (2 half turns towards
the right). On completing the process the electronic
system will reactivate.
5.2. An emergency code:
In the event that you cannot remember your personal
code, you can open the safe by pressing this emergency
code instead of your usual one and following the steps
indicated in part 2. For your security we recommend not
changing this code. If you need to change it, follow these
instructions:
• Open the safe and do not shut it until the process has
been concluded.
• Press the ON key and then key 8.
• Introduce a blunt object (e.g. a pen) into the circular hole
that is on the back of the door, until it reaches its limit.
The safe emits a long beep for the beginning of the
changing process. The display will show "----"
• Enter the valid emergency code (that which is in the
envelope if it is the first change or that now programmed
in if you have previously changed it).
• Press the
key. The display will show "NEW CODE" for
3 seconds and, subsequently, "----".
• Enter the new emergency code that you have decided
on. Remember that it must have a minimum of 1 and a
maximum of 12 digits.
• Press the
key.
• The display will show "REPETITION" for 3 seconds and,
subsequently, "----". For verification re-enter your new
emergency code.
• Press the
key again.
The safe will send out a long beep of acceptance, and the
display will show "YES" whenever the process has been
correctly completed. In case of error, it will send out four
short beeps and the display will show "ERROR". In this
second case the opening code has not been changed and
you will have to repeat the process.
REMEMBER:
Never keep the envelope containing the
emergency key and emergency code inside the
safe, in case you need to use them.
6. USE OF THE EXTERNAL BATTERY CHARGER:
In the case the safe runs out of battery and you dot
have the emergency key; you can open the safe by the
means of the external charger. Proceed in the following
manner:
• Place 4 batteries of 1.5V in the external charger
• Insert the charger connector in the power socket located
at the left side of the keyboard.
• Once the display is on, open the safe normally.
7. CONDITION OF THE BATTERY INDICATOR:
Each time you use the safe, the electronic system checks
the batteries condition and the display will show the
same by the means of a battery pictograph reflecting 3
levels.
Whenever the display shows a low level of battery, you
will have to replace the batteries located on the back
side of the door. The safe is prepared to be opened
several times with a low battery. However, do not be
over-confident and replace the batteries as soon as
possible.
