Push the handle (2) into the initial position. The clamp is self-closing and

requires only a small amount of force to close.

The adapter (1) is pressed onto the filter holder.

Hook the notch of the inner part (2) of the filter holder onto the
t
adapter (1).

Unscrew the 3 Luer caps of filter for the retentate, permeate and feed
t
ports.
Insert the filter into the inner part of the filter holder and clip the outer
t
part onto the inner one.
Connect the 3 ports to the corresponding Luer fittings attached to the
t
outer part of the holder. To do this:
Engage the Luer tapers into the corresponding ports of the filter.

Screw in the Luer lock rings on the Luer fittings (2).
Make sure the Luer taper (1) is securely engaged inside the corre-
t
sponding port on the filter by giving an additional push and twist.
Make sure to hold on to the Luer connector tightly and not the com-
t
pression fitting.
Make sure that each feed, retentate and permeate port on the
t
adapter is connected to the corresponding port on the filter.

The QR code (3) on the filter should appear in the window of the outer

part of the holder.
The second permeate port next to the feed port on the filter must remain
t
capped with the Luer cap provided.
Make sure the Luer cap is done up tight on the second permeate port.

Follow the prompts on the screen of the control unit.
