C. In order to sew correctly on the machine, the thread should be run exactly as shown on Figure 9.
11 you are using a thread tensioner, first you must thread the thread through the rear eye of the thread guida (1 ). Then lead
the thread between the two tensioner di ses (2), as per Figure 9. Thread the thread lrom the back ol the front eye of the
thread guida. Lead thread to the front ol the machine, lead lt from the top to the thread guide (3) and eye (4).
Then make sure that the needle is at the extreme left position. Thread the thread from the botlom, through the needle's eye,
as shown on Figure 11.
lt Is easier to thread the needle eye, when the working table is open alter loosenlng the set screw (Figure 12).

8. Placing material and start of sewlng
Press the knee lifter. The cylinder bed will make a swing motion to the bottom and create a gap between the foot and the bed.
lnsert material lnto the gap in such way that the material's rolled edge was placed along the edge guide of the loo!.
When the material is in the corree! posltion, release the knee lifter. Slowly run the machine and focus on observing the
material running through the edge guida.
