Before starting the engine for the first time, the engine crankcase should be
topped up with oil through the dipstick hole with the machine on a level
surface:
The correct oil level should be within the allowable range on the dipstick, i.e.
grated field - after refilling the oil, wipe the dipstick dry, then insert it fully into
the hole and pull it out after a few seconds to check where the oil is reaching
the dipstick.
