MAINTENANCE
5. Storage Area
Cover and store in a dry, level, well-ventilated area
out of reach of children. Storage area should also be
away from ignition sources, such as water heaters,
clothes dryers, and furnaces.
6. Preparation For Use After Storage
6.1 Slowly pull the starter cord a few times to clean
oil from the cylinder or to eject any antifreeze
from the pump which were added prior to storage.
6.2 Remove the spark plug from the cylinder. Wipe oil
from the spark plug and return it to the cylinder
and retighten.
6.3 Reconnect the spark plug wire.
High Altitude Operation
At high altitudes over 3,000 feet, the engine carburetor and
any other parts that control the fuel-air ratio will be affected,
which will decrease performance, increase fuel consumption
and increase emission. Proper operation can be ensured by
installing an altitude kit by a qualified mechanic when use at
altitude higher than 3,000 feet. Refer to the altitude kit and
operation instruction (provided) when needed.
