5. Initial use
Check if the product and the components are intact and if the appliance is working
properly when using it for the first time. Remove the appliance out of the packag-
ing and connect it to a properly installed earthed socket. Please remove all residual
packaging.
Wipe the surface of the appliance using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any
manufacturing residues, wipe the water tank once thoroughly before using it for
the first time.
Do not operate the appliance unattended and check it for damage and proper as-
sembly before using it each time.
After transporting and before using it for the first time, switch off the appliance
and place it at the desired location and leave it for 24 hours so that the coolant
can sink down to the correct place.
For short distance transports, wait about 30 minutes before restarting the
appliance.
