ELECTRODE/PROBE CLEANING
Refer to the electrode/probe instruction manual before performing this operation.
Wait until there is no more water coming out of the hydraulic circuit. Disconnect the electrode cables by
unscrewing the connectors at their ends and the fastening clamps, then remove them from the probe
holder in the hydraulic circuit of the system. Wash the sensitive end with warm water and mild soap,
removing any residual grease using a paintbrush with soft bristles.
To clean the probes do not rub them with abrasive objects or cloths that can charge them electrostatically.
In the event of extreme dirt, clean the electrodes using Denatured Alcohol. When the cleaning operations
are complete, reconnect the electrodes with their respective cables and calibrate them without restoring
the water flow to the system. When the calibration procedure is complete, switch the system off electrically
and replace the electrodes in the probe holder. Reconnect the power supply and the water flow to the
system after closing the sampling valve.
6.4
HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Perform this operation every six months.
Visually inspect the hydraulic circuit of the equipment after switching it off electrically. In the presence of
leaking liquid, pipe damage or any sealing problem, act on the hydraulic circuit only after having interrupted
the flow of water reaching the station and depressurize the system by opening the sampling valve.
Replace the damaged parts with original or recommended spare parts only.
Do not leave impurities inside the hydraulic circuit that may clog it.
Close the sampling valve before reconnecting the water flow to the system. Restore the
system pressure by proceeding gradually and then power the equipment.
