Cleaning Device Surfaces
Procedure
Switch off the device .

Disconnect the power supply cable from the power supply
t
at the installation site .
NOTICE Corrosion or damage to the device due to unsuit-
t
able cleaning agents!
Do not use corrosive, chloride-containing or aggressive
t
cleaning agents .
Do not use cleaning agents that contain abrasive
t
ingredients, e .g . scouring agents, steel wool .
Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents .
t
Make sure that cleaning materials, such as cloths, are
t
only slightly damp . Do not use wet cleaning cloths .
Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth . Use a mild
t
soapy solution or a suitable cleaning agent for more severe
contaminations .

Removing the Ink Ribbon
Procedure
Switch off the device .

Open the top cover .

Open the ink ribbon cover .

Remove the ink ribbon's paper winding spool from the

winding spool for the ink ribbon first on the left side, then
the right .
Remove the ink ribbon's supply spool from the intake for

the ink ribbon's supply spool first on the left side, then the
right .
