Improper handling of the scale may result in damage to the scale.
– Only use approved accessories and peripherals.
– Handle the scale with due care. Note that the scale is a precision
instrument.
– Observe the maximum weighing capacity of the scale. Do not
exceed it.
– Do not expose the weighing platform to jolts and impacts.
– The scale must be operated as far away as possible from other
equipment or sources of electromagnetic or other interferenc-
es (e.g. powerful motors or mobile HF communications equip-
ment), as these can affect the measurement results.
– Only use the scale in dry indoor areas. It is not intended for out-
door use.
– Only use the scale within the permitted ambient conditions.
– Never place the scale near hot surfaces.
– Use the scale at constant ambient temperatures and avoid using
it in draughty places as this may yield incorrect measurement
results.
– Never expose the scale to high temperatures (e.g. heat, direct
sunlight), moisture, humidity or weather conditions (e.g. rain).
– Never fill the scale with liquid.
– Never attempt to clean the scale by submerging it in water, and
do not use a steam cleaner to clean it. The scale may otherwise
get damaged.
– Do not put the scale in a dishwasher. It would be destroyed as a
result.
