Safety
– Do not use the batteries if they are damaged.
– Avoid deep-discharging the batteries.
– Discontinue using of the scale if it is damaged or if the battery
cover is bulging.
– Store batteries out of the reach of children. If you suspect that a
battery has been swallowed or has otherwise entered the body,
consult a physician immediately.
– Do not allow children to change the batteries without supervi-
sion.
– Always change the entire set of batteries. Never mix old and new
batteries or batteries with different charges. Replace all batteries
with new batteries of the same type and brand.
– If you are no longer able to securely close the battery compart-
ment in which the batteries are located, do not use the scale.
Remove the batteries and store them in a location which is inac-
cessible to children.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
In case of malfunction or damage, electrolyte (battery fluid) may
leak from a battery. Contact with fluid leaking from a battery can
lead to burns.
– Do not handle leaking batteries without protective gloves.
– Avoid contact with leaked battery fluid.
– In the event of contact with leaked battery fluid, immediately
rinse the area with clean water.
– Immediately consult a doctor if leaked battery fluid comes into
contact with the eyes.
