5. USAGE
5.1 INFLATING/BLOWING GUN WITH GAUGE AND ADAPTORS
5.2 USING THE BLOWING GUN:
WARNING!: Uscrew and remove the hose with clamping
valve [C] from gun body [A]. The long blow adaptor nozzle [B] can
now be securely screwed into the gun body [A].
This nozzle can be used for cleaning and blowing out bores or
hard-to-reach areas, as well as for cleaning dirty equipment. The
trigger lever [3] allows the precise control of compressed air us-
age.
5.3 USING THE INFLATING GUN:
WARNING!: Uscrew and remove the long blow adaptor noz-
zle [B] from gun body [A]. The rubber hose [C] can now be secure-
ly screwed into the gun body [A].
The rubber hose [C] comes with a Schrader valve adaptor with
which it is possible to inflate light vehicle tyres. Always check the
tyre pressure with the pressure gauge after inflating. The trigger
lever [3] allows a precise addition of compressed air. If the tyre
pressure is too high, you can reduce the pressure by depressing
the integrated relief valve [2].
INFLATING AND TESTING OF TYRES PRESSURE.
WARNING: Always
1) Check the service manual of your car for the correct tyre
inflation pressure.
2) Test inflating pressure with a calibrated manometer
(gauge).
5.3.1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ADAPTOR SET
Please refer to Fig.2 for information on the correct use of the
adaptors.
The included adaptors are:
• Ball needle [D].
This needle can be used to inflate a variety of different games
balls and inflatables. Balls
• Valve adaptor [E]
This Presta valve adaptor is designed for inflating bicycle tyres
fitted with Presta-type valves.
• Conical universal adaptor [F-G].
These universal adaptors can be used for inflating airbeds and
other
similar items.
• Adaptor [H].
This adaptor is necessary to use adaptors K, L, M.
• Vent adaptor [K].
This adaptor is designed for use with deflation valves.

Deflation valves are often combined with other valves (standard
valve, screw valve, ...) on many large articles such as inflatable
mattresses.
• Adaptor [L].
This adaptor is designed for use with screw valves.
It can be used for all conventional boats, kayaks and other large
items such as pools, which are fitted with a screw valve.
• Adaptor [M]
This adaptor is designed for use with all valves with an internal
diameter of 8 mm or more.
It can be used to inflate airbeds, pools or boats.
6. MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND STORAGE
WARNING!: Disconnect the accessory from the compressed
air source before carrying out any adjustment, maintenance or
repair.
6.1 MAINTENANCE
Any maintenance not described in this manual should only be
carried out by the service centre. Maintain the accessory regu-
larly. We recommend to maintain after each usage and, at least,
min. 4 times per year. Check the vibrations from the accessory
regularly and after each use. The cause of abnormal vibration
levels has to be rectified or the accessory has to be repaired. Use
only original spare parts or replacement parts from the manu-
facturer. Otherwise the operator is at risk. If in doubt contact the
service
centre.
6.2 CLEANING
Clean the accessory regularly to avoid friction and corrosion dam-
age. For example, cover the accessory with a foil after each use
to prevent the accessory from becoming dirty. Do not use any ag-
gressive cleaning agents, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such
as knives, hard scrapers etc for cleaning. They could damage the
tools. Clean plastic parts with a soft cloth and soapy water and
dry thoroughly.
6.3 STORAGE
Clean the accessory set thoroughly before storing (see section on
"Cleaning").
