Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the electrical plug from the outlet first and allow the appliance
to cool before cleaning. The exterior housing can be cleaned with a damp
cloth and a mild detergent. To clean the interior of the pot, fill half way with
warm soapy water and clean with a soft cloth, or place the appliance in the
dishwasher. Clean the spatter guard and forks in warm soapy water or in
the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool on the exterior
or interior of the appliance. Never immerse the appliance or temperature
control dial in water or any other liquid.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS REMOVE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
FROM THE SOCKET PRIOR TO CLEANING. THE TEMPERATURE
