Preparing the refrigerant connections
7798815 - v04 - 07122022
1. Choose if the pipes need to pass behind or next to the indoor unit.
2. Drill a 70 mm diameter hole in the wall with a downward gradient from
the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.
3. Fit the indoor unit ring to the wall with adhesive tape.
4. Hang the indoor unit on the mounting bracket using the upper hooks.
Make sure that the indoor unit is centered.
5. Position and push the indoor unit onto the mounting bracket until the
hooks attach firmly into the guides and you hear them click into place.
It is possible to install the condensate pipe on the right side (1) or the left
side (2) of the indoor unit.
1. If needed, remove the rubber cap from the chosen condensation
connector and plug it onto the unused connector.
2. Fit the condensate pipe to the condensation connector.
3. Install the condensate pipe with a downward slope of 1/100-150.

To allow exchanges between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, fit 2
refrigerant connections: Flow and return.
Pursuant to European Regulation 517/2014, the equipment must be
installed by a certified operator whenever the refrigerant load is in excess
of 5 tonnes of CO
necessary (the case with split systems, even when fitted with a quick
coupling device).
Install the refrigerant connection pipes between the indoor unit and the
outdoor unit.
Protect the pipes from physical damage during normal operation, service
or maintenance.
Danger
Only a qualified professional may carry out the installation, in
compliance with current legislation and standards.
Compliance with national regulations shall be observed.

Important
To avoid noise from pipes vibrating against each other, observe
the following:
Leave a space between the pipes during connection.
Provide enough slack in the pipes.
Use sufficient insulated pipe support clamps to prevent direct
contact with light surfaces like wooden panels.
Insulate the pipes with noise-damping rubber or other insulation.
