TIPS FOR THE SELECTION OF
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO
BE BLENDED:
• ALWAYS clean the fruits and vegetables be-
fore extracting the juice from them.
• The most suitable fruits and vegetables are:
Pineapple, Beet, Celery, Apple, Cucumber,
Spinach, Tomato, Tangerine, Grape...
• All fruits and vegetables with thin skin do not
necessarily need to be peeled but those with
thicker skin such as oranges, tangerines, pi-
neapples, melons or even raw beets (for exa-
mple) must be peeled MANDATORY.
• Citrus seeds can cause a bitter taste to the jui-
ce, so it is preferable to remove them.
• Select the type of apple according to taste and
needs: By squeezing the apples, the concen-
tration of the apple juice depends on the
type of apple selected. Apples with a light-co-
loured (not very tasty) juice can be discarded
in favour of apples with a greater quantity of
juice and which will offer a thicker juice.
• Salad leaves (like lettuce can also be
squeezed)
CAUTION:
Fruits containing starch such as:
- banana,
- the papaya,
- the lawyer,
- figs
- mangoes
are not suitable for making juice, so it
is STRONGLY not recommended to use
them in the juicer.
TIPS AND TRICKS
• Place a fitted plastic bag in the pulp recep-
tacle before using the appliance, to facilitate
8
cleaning.
• Use fresh fruits and vegetables - they contain
more juice than frozen and thawed fruits and
vegetables.
• Green, leafy vegetables such as cabbage and
spinach can be juiced. Roll the leaves into a
cylinder shape the size of the chute and insert
them.
• All types of juices must be consumed imme-
diately after juicing as they quickly lose their
nutrients and vitamins when exposed to air.
The taste may also be affected.
• Remember that the leftover pulp can be used
in cakes, stir-fries, lasagnes, muffins, and
more. Yum!
• Freshly made apple juice can quickly turn
brown: to avoid and slow down discoloura-
tion, add the juice of half a lemon.
• Longer vegetables, such as carrots, should
be inserted into the chute with the pointed tip
first.
Our tip to save pulp :
• If your fruits and vegetables produce too
much pulp, pass them through the centrifuge
more slowly, and don't hesitate to pass the
pulp through a second time.
STORAGE:
• Make sure the appliance is completely cool
and dry.
• Never wrap the electric cord around the ap-
pliance as this may damage it.
• Store the appliance in a cool and dry place,
out of reach of children.
