Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the unit
is made.
i)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, thinners, fuel,
oil or other chemicals as this may damage the unit.
j)
Lubricate the friction parts of the belt regularly with the oil provided.
Depending on frequency of use, lubricate: once a year - every 3 months.
k)
Regularly check the tension of the belt - a belt that is too loose may slip, while
one that is too tight may make noise during operation and as a result
contribute to faster wear of the components. A properly tensioned belt should
be able to lift 50-75 mm in the center of the treadmill.
