In order to preserve and prolong the treadmill life, turning off the treadmill for
10 minutes after every 2 hours of use is recommended.
CENTERING THE TREADMILL BELT
Placing the treadmill on a level surface, run the unit at 6-8 km/h and observe the
treadmill belt. Stop the treadmill. If the belt has slipped to the right, tighten its
right fastening screw half a turn (clockwise) and loosen its left fastening screw half
a turn (counterclockwise) - see picture 1. If the belt slips to the left side, loosen
the right screw half a turn and tighten the left screw half a turn - see picture 2.
Then run the treadmill again for at least 15 seconds at 4 km/h and check that the
belt slips to the left side. If the belt still needs to be adjusted, turn the screws again
by another quarter or half turn, according to the above mentioned scheme.
LUBRICATION
Lubrication under the treadmill belt will ensure excellent performance and
prolong its life. After approximately 25 hours of operation or after 2-3 months,
add some oil, and repeat after every 50 operating hours or every 5-8 months.
To check if the belt is properly lubricated, lift one side of the belt and inspect the
underside of the belt - if it is smooth to the touch it does not need lubrication, if it
is dry add oil. To lubricate the belt, lift one side of the belt and add oil to the center
of the underside of the belt. Then run the treadmill for 3-5 minutes to allow the
oil to distribute evenly.
CAUTION: do not overdo the amount of oil as the treadmill may slide off the
rollers! Do not lubricate the usable part of the treadmill! Remove excess oil
immediately. An oil-based lubricant that does not contain silicone is
recommended for maintenance.
