13.7 Connecting the AV-EP electrical components
The circuit boards in the base plates establish the electrical connection to the bus
coupler.
The components in the valve system are re-arranged after conversion. The bus
coupler reports the new sequence to the control. You must therefore reconfigure
the PLC. The process depends on the fieldbus protocol.
Update your system's PLC configuration. Note the system description on the
u
bus coupler used (on CD R412018133). There, you can find more information
on the PLC configuration key.

15 Troubleshooting
The table below contains an overview of malfunctions, possible causes, and
remedies.
If you cannot remedy a malfunction, please contact AVENTICS GmbH.
The address is printed on the back cover of these instructions.

Remedy
Connect power supply
Check power supply polariza-
tion
Switch on system component
Stipulate a set point
Increase supply pressure
Insert an additional pneumatic
supply module
Reduce air consumption
Check the seals and replace, if
necessary
Exchange the pressure regula-
tor
Stipulate the correct type of

Switch fewer valves at once
Insert an additional pneumatic
supply module
Stipulate valid parameteriza-
tion
Exchange device since a pres-
sure sensor is defective.
