• Children aged 8 or over and people with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or
with and insufficient knowledge and experience should only be allowed to use, clean or
maintain the appliance if supervised by someone responsible for their safety or if they
have already been shown how to use the appliance safely and have understood the risks
involved.
• Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of
reach of children aged under 8.
• Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children.
• Never put the appliance on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store / expose the
appliance to intense heat (from radiators, prolonged sunshine). Only extinguish burning
appliances using a fire blanket.
• Do not use attachments not recommended / sold by the manufacturer.
• The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not
operate the appliance outdoors.
• Use appliance in an upright position on a stable surface.
• Regulary check if the appliance is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances – have
repairs carried out / obtain replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer's service
point or from qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury!
• Do not drop device / knock device against hard objects.
• Never immerse appliance in water / other fluids.
• Do not use in the vicinity of devices with electromagnetic radiation (microwave, tele-
phone, etc.).
• Have the functioning of the device checked every 2 years by a Trisa Electronics service
point.
• Insert batteries correctly. Do not mix battery types / new batteries with used batteries.
Long-life alkaline batteries are recommended.
• Remove batteries when not in use for a protracted period.
