Assembly of TRF 400F; TRF 80F; TRF 70
and TRF 50
Some of this equipment's components come
disassembled from the factory, to assemble, follow
the following instructions:
Assemble the trestle and the body
To begin assembling, remove the two sides of the
rack (1) from their packaging and assemble with the
crossbar (2), the screw (3), the washer (4) and the nut
(5) that are in the manual. Repeat the operation on
both sides.

Some TRAPP shredders, whether single- or three
phase, are provided with dual voltage motors,
and come out from the factory without electric
connection, so that the customer may select the
connection type, according to voltage provided in
the local power grid.
All the TRAPP shredders, with gasoline-powered
engine, come out from factory mounted without oil
in the engine and without gasoline, before turning
the engine on, the following information must be
verified and followed, according to page 34.
Some models of shredders are provided with a 127
and 220 V voltage selector. Check if the voltage
indicated in the selector is compatible with the
power grid voltage before plugging the engine in, if
necessary adjust the voltage as indicated on page 49
of this manual.
In order to perform the correct connection, the data
indicated in the motor's identification plate and the
numbering printed in the power cord insulation
itself, when the shredder is provided with an electric
motor.
Some models of shredders are provided with an IP22
motor mounted uncovered in the shredder's frame;
to connect the wires, check the motor's identification
plate and proceed with the connection in the on/off
switch wire.
The other electric models are provided with an
IP00 motor and are housed in a plastic protection;
to proceed with the wires connection according to
the local power grid, remove the plastic protection
as indicated on page 49 to have access to the motor,
the motor connection plate and the connecting

Then align the sides of the rack and the crossbar on
a flat base and tighten the screws using the wrench
provided in the manual.

For shredders traded without motor, the minimum
power choice must follow the technical data
presented on page 33.
