• Do not use on highly combustible surfaces or in combus-
tible environments (e.g. paper, textiles etc.).
• Make sure heat-sensitive materials are suitable for
gluing with hot-melt adhesive.
• Do not pull glue stick out of the applicator. Hot-melt ad-
hesive running into the applicator may cause damage.
• Only use suitable glue sticks at the intended tempera-
ture.
• When changing the glue application temperature, make
sure the next glue stick used is suitable for the temper-
ature selected.
Danger from water and moisture!
• Do not expose the tool to rain.
• Do not use tool if it is damp and do not use it in a damp
or wet environment.
This tool may be used by children aged 8 or above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or have been given instructions on how to use
the tool safely and understand the hazards involved.
Do not allow children to play with the tool. Children must
not be allowed to clean or carry out maintenance work on
the tool without supervision.
– Only use genuine replacement parts.
– Only use genuine STEINEL sticks.
– Use the tool in dry rooms only.
– Repairs must only be carried out by companies qualified
to do so.
– Do not leave the tool unattended.
