f) Wrap the probe power cable (1) around the lower (5) and middle tubes (6) and
finally connect the plug to the socket on the back of the control box (9) and
tighten the nut (8):
BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the back of the control box. Remove the
battery compartment cover and install both batteries, pay attention to the correct
polarity (marked in the compartment). The device remains fully functional until all
lines on the battery status indicator disappear - then both batteries should be
replaced.
IMPORTANT: use only 9V alkaline batteries for power supply.

Working with the device
3.3.1 HEADPHONES
It is recommended to use headphones (not included) to work with the
device. The input for the headphone plug (3.5 mm) is located on the
underside of the control box housing on the left:
