Running through the electric installation harness

the trunk. Close the opening with the bushing which is included in the towing coupling

- Snap the towing coupling electric installation harness terminal boards in the socket guard
(E).
- Seat the assembly on the towing coupling socket holder according to the figure and screw
down with three screws located in the socket guard. Tighten the screws with tightening
torque of 3 Nm.

luggage compartment
- 6a, 7a, 8a - applies for vehicles Škoda Roomster (5J7)
- Lead the towing coupling electric installation harness (A) in the left (in the direction of the
drive) alongside the luggage compartment threshold towards the left rear wheel housing.
- On the rear wheel housing, run the towing coupling electric installation harness -arrow-
under the existing electric installation of the vehicle and lead it in parallel with it, up to the
strut for fixing the rear seats.
- Run the harness under the carpet alongside the strut for fixing the rear seats, up to the cen-
tral tunnel of the car bodywork (Fig. 8).
- Tighten the towing coupling electric installation using the tightening tapes (J) and fasteners
(K), as shown on the pictures. On the rear wheel housing, fasten the towing coupling electric
installation harness into the Škoda fasteners.
- 6b - applies for vehicles Škoda Praktik (5J8)
- Lead the towing coupling electric installation harness (A) in the left (in the direction of the
drive) alongside the luggage compartment threshold towards the left rear wheel housing. At
this point, slide the protective bellows (M

with the existing electric installation of the vehicle up to the strut for fixing the rear seats.
