4. 1~4 OUT LEDs: The corresponding OUT LED will illuminate green when the HDBaseT OUTPUT is
connected to a HDBaseT receiver.
Rear Panel
1. RS-232: Connect to a PC, Serial Controller or Serial device via a phoenix block 3-way connection for
the pass-through transmission of RS-232 signals, control the splitter via RS-232 commands and for
firmware update.
2. IR IN: Connect the supplied IR Receiver cable for IR signal reception. Ensure the remote being used
is within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
3. IR OUT: Connect the supplied IR Transmitter Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR Transmitter
in direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
4. AUDIO OUT: COAX and balanced audio output ports, connect to a speaker or amplifier.
5. POWER SWITCH: Press this button to power on/off the unit.
6. EDID: DIP Switches to select different EDID modes, please refer to EDID Mode section under
Operation paragraph.
7. HDMI IN: Connect to an HDMI source device.
HDMI LOOP OUT: Connect to a local HDMI display.
8. HDBT 1~4 OUTPUT: Connect a compatible HDBaseT receiver using a single Cat.6 or above cable
for all data signals. Please do not connect to a network port.
9. GREEN LEDs: This will illuminate green when transmitter and receiver are connected correctly.
This will flash green when the connection between transmitter and receiver is unstable.
This will remain off when transmitter and receiver are not connected.
10. ORANGE LEDs: This will illuminate orange when HDMI signal is with HDCP.
This will flash orange when HDMI signal is without HDCP.
This will remain off where there is no HDMI signal.
11. POC SWITCH: Turn on/off the PoC function.
12. DC 24V: Connect the 24VDC 2.7A PSU to an AC wall outlet and securely connector to the unit.
