Faults and fault rectification
Check any faults in the appliance against the following table:
Fault

been heated,
‒ air circulation is obstructed,
‒ the ambient temperature is
too high, or
‒ a pot that has been over
heated and hence damaged
is being used.

Action
Turn on main switch.
Inform the power supply company.
Possible faults on the appliance must be
checked by an authorised Customer Ser
vice agent. Reset the circuit breaker.
Have any faults in the mains wiring
checked by an approved electrician. Re
set the circuit breaker.
Use cookware suitable for induction
ranges.
Contact the authorized Customer Service
if the fault recurs.
Poor quality of pot! Use cookware suitable
for induction ranges.
Clean the air filter. Check air vents on the
appliance. The air vents must not be cov
ered or allowed to get dirty.
No hot air must be sucked in. The ambi
ent temperature must not exceed
40°C / 110°F.
If the cookware has been damaged by
overheating and the pot or pan base has
come away from the core, the heat can no
longer be transferred into the cookware
and hence the food quickly enough. The
appliance overheating protection switches
the appliance off. Dispose of the cook
ware that has been damaged by overheat
ing.
Clean the air filter.
Check circulation of intake and exhaust
air.
Have the air routing on the generator
checked by an authorised Customer Ser
vice agent.
