3 Product Overview
3.1 Intended Use
The Invacare Omega Eco H440 is a height adjustable toilet
chair composed of padded armrests, backrest, seat plate
with toilet opening and seat insert. It can be used over the
toilet or independently with a pan with lid. This product is
intended to be used as a toilet aid providing stable seating
position while going to toilet.
Intended User
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility or limited muscle strength. If used without
an assistant, the users must be able to keep their own
balance.
Indication
•
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or
•
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to
transitional or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended. For the maximum user weight, see 7
Technical Data, page 5 .
3.2 Scope of Delivery
The scope of delivery is shown in figure 1.
4 Setup

– Take care during assembly.
Assemble Toilet Seat (Fig. 3)
1. Install the toilet seat plate with the clips A to the rear
frame tube with an audible click. Make sure the clips
engage next to the screws B.
2. Position the seat insert into the cutout of the toilet seat
plate. By pulling the strap A the seat insert can be
removed (Fig. 5).
Adjusting Height of Legs (Fig. 4)
1. Press pin A and move all adjustment tubes B to desired
height.
2. Let pin engage at desired height with an audible click.
WARNING!
Risk of Injury
– Make sure that all legs are adjusted to the same
height (Fig. 8).
– Ensure that the pins are correctly engaged after
adjustment.
Inserting/Removing Toilet Pan (Fig. 6)
The toilet pan can be inserted/removed with or
without the lid B.
1. Fold up the toilet seat plate C (Fig. 6).
2. Use toilet pan handle A to insert/remove toilet pan.
3. Fold down toilet seat (Fig. 7).

5.1 General Maintenance Information
This product is maintenance-free, provided that the cleaning
and disinfection instructions are adhered to.
5.2 Cleaning and Disinfection
General Safety Information
CAUTION!
Risk of Contamination
– Take precautions for yourself and use
appropriate protective equipment.
NOTICE!
Wrong fluids or methods can harm or damage
the product.
– All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must
be effective, compatible with one another and
must protect the materials they are used to
clean.
– Never use corrosive fluids (alkalines, acid etc.)
or abrasive cleaning agents. We recommend
an ordinary household cleaning agent such as
dishwashing liquid, if not specified otherwise in
the cleaning instructions.
– Never use a solvent (cellulose thinner, acetone
etc.) that changes the structure of the plastic
or dissolves the attached labels.
– Always make sure that the product is completely
dried before taking it into use again.
For cleaning and disinfection in clinical or long-term
care environments, follow your in-house procedures.
Cleaning Intervals
NOTICE!
Regular cleaning and disinfection enhances
smooth operation, increases the service life and
prevents contamination.
Clean and disinfect the product:
– before first use,
– regularly while it is in use,
– when it has been in contact with any body
fluids.
Cleaning Instructions
NOTICE!
Maximum cleaning temperature:
– 60 °C by hand
1. Clean the product by wiping down all generally accessible
surfaces.
2. Dry the parts with a cloth.
Disinfection Instructions
Method: Follow the application notes for the used
disinfectant and wipe-disinfect all accessible surfaces.
Disinfectant: Ordinary household disinfectant.
Drying: Allow the product to air-dry.

6.1 Disposal
Be environmentally responsible and recycle this product
through your recycling facility at its end of life.
