Set up for New Zealand CID operation
1. Select English language (page 1, Connection/Basic setting ).
2. Select flashtime, R = 600 (page 1, Connection/Basic setting )
3. Lift and replace the handset.
Important note for NZ users!
In order for the 0/00 prefix to be included when dialling from the CID memory the
tasks above must be done. The telephone will add the required prefix in accordance with
Telecom NZ guidelines.
Note that there may be some incoming international calls which result in number lengths
of less than 10 digits, but these are expected to be in the minority. Typical examples are
those from the Pacific Islands. These numbers will be displayed as national numbers.
Numbers longer than 14 digits will not be displayed correctly and Dial back function
should not be used.
If a charge for local calls is unacceptable the dial back feature should not be used, refer
to page 12.
