N30-4 P
The N30-4 P helmet can potentially be used in as many as eight different configura-
tions. This is characterised - depending on the product version purchased - by the
presence of a long visor, googles or peak, which can be alternatively assembled on the
product in combination, or not, with the removable protective chin guard (Fig.1).
Using the helmet in the configuration - with chin guard fastened and long visor pulled
down - obviously offers the highest level of protection as compared to other configu-
rations.
The covers of the chin guard locking slots (which should be assembled if the helmet
is to be used without the chin guard) and the side plates (which should be fixed if the
helmet is to be used without the visor or without the peak) are provided in the box.
REMOVABLE PROTECTIVE CHIN GUARD
1
RELEASE
1.1 Open the visor completely, if any.
1.2 Push the right and left chin guard release levers outwards and simultaneously
remove the chin guard from the helmet by pulling it outwards (Fig.2A).
Every time you wish to release the chin guard to use your helmet in the jet
configuration, insert the right and left chin guard locking slot covers (chin guard
covers) into the slots on the right and left side frames and push them towards
the inside of the helmet until you hear a fastening click (Fig.3).
The right and left chin guard covers are different from each other and they are
marked at their rear part as "R" (right) and "L" (left).

FASTENING
Before fastening the chin guard to the helmet, remove the chin guard covers by per-
forming the following operations:
2.1 Open the visor completely, if any.
2.2 Remove the right and left chin guard covers by pulling them outwards (Fig.3).
2.3 Simultaneously insert the right and left chin guard ends (Fig.2B) and the left and
right metal hooks into the slots on the right and left side frames of the helmet
(Fig.2C), then press the chin guard towards the inside of the helmet until you hear
a fastening click on both sides (Fig.2A).
2.4 Make sure the chin guard is properly fastened at both ends by gently pulling it
towards the outside of the helmet.
