1.3 Lift the visor front until it is completely released from the mechanism; then lightly
push the visor towards the rear of the helmet (Fig.7); then pull the visor away from
the helmet.
1.4 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.

ASSEMBLY
2.1 Place the visor on the shell; fasten the visor rear under the left mechanism, by
pressing it towards the helmet (Fig.7).
2.2 Push the left side mechanism release small piston towards the rear of the helmet
until its limit stop (Fig.6) and then press the visor against the mechanism. Release
the release small piston until you hear a fastening click.
2.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
2.4 Always reassemble both side rings (for NJS-11 visor) and side cover plates (see
instructions above).
2.5 Close the visor completely.
WARNING
-
Check that the mechanisms are working properly and that the side cover plates
and side rings (for NJS-11 visor) have been properly assembled. Open and close
the visor, checking that the latter is held in place in its different positions by the
mechanisms. If necessary, follow the previous operations mentioned above.

Never use the helmet if the visor, the rings (for NJS-11 visor) and side cover plates
have not been properly assembled.

Never remove the side mechanisms from the shell.

Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please refer to a Nolan-
group authorised dealer.
SIDE COVERS AND LOWER EDGE TRIM OF THE GOOGLES ( NJS-12 )
(Available as standard or accessories/spare parts)
The googles are equipped with two side covers and a lower edge trim, which are print-
ed and fastened to the visor using elastic clicks.

SIDE COVER DISASSEMBLY
To release the side covers from the visor, first remove the visor from the helmet (see
instructions above).
1.1 Pull the upper end of the left side cover outwards, deforming it slightly, to release
the upper grip pawl A1 of the side cover from its corresponding housing B1 on the
visor (Fig.8).
1.2 Slightly pull the left side cover outwards at the side and rear grip pawls (Fig.9).
1.3 Completely release the left side cover from the visor by pulling the lower grip pawl
A2 of the side cover from its corresponding housing B2 on the visor (Fig.10).
1.4 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the visor.
