SIDE COVER PLATES

DISASSEMBLY
1.1 Release the left safety cover from its side cover plate, by pulling it outwards, with-
out removing it (Fig.4A).
Pulling excessively the cover while releasing it from the cover plate may cause
damage to the cover or to cover plate.
1.2 Turn the cover plate with the cover released upwards (Fig.4B).
1.3 Remove the cover plate with the cover from the helmet by pulling it outwards so
that the cover plate inner bayonets "A" come out of their corresponding housings
in the side mechanism (Fig 5).
1.4 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.

ASSEMBLY
2.1 Place the left side cover plate with its cover on the visor mechanism and insert the
inner bayonets "A" in their corresponding housings in the side mechanism (Fig.5).
2.2 Turn the cover plate with its cover towards the rear part of the helmet (Fig.4B).
Lock the cover plate by pressing the safety cover (Fig.4A). Make sure the cover is
firmly fastened to the cover plate.
2.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
WARNING

The right and left cover plates are different from each other and they are marked
at their rear part as "R" (right) and "L" (left).

Always check that the cover plates and the safety covers have been properly
assembled and that they are firmly attached to the side mechanisms.

If your configuration of the helmet includes the long visor or googles or the peak,
try to activate them (see instructions below) and check that the cover plates do not
move.

Regardless of the configuration and accessories assembled on the helmet, never
use the helmet if the side cover plates have not been properly assembled.

Never remove the side mechanisms from the shell.

Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please refer to a Nolan-
group authorised dealer.

DISASSEMBLY
To disassemble the visor, first remove the side cover plates (see instructions above)
and the side rings, if any.
1.1 Open the visor completely.
1.2 Push the left side mechanism release small piston towards the rear of the helmet
until its limit stop (Fig.6).
