Follow the pictures to regulate the blades and identify the screws. Undo the nuts.
Softly do the screws up to the head than undo them. Put some oil on the blades.
Start up the engine first than the hedgetrimmer at highest speed for at least one minute. Stop the engine and once the blades
have stopped, touch the blades with your hands- blades must be warm, if you feel them too hot, undo the screws for 1/8 turn.
HOW TO START UP AND STOP
Before you start up the engine: fill up the fuel tank with fuel as illustrated in the section BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
of this manual. Put the hedgetrimmer on the ground, make sure there are no debris, branches ...on the blades.
START UP THE ENGINE
1.Push and release the primer bulb on the carburettor as long as you don't see the fuel without air bubbles in the fuel hose.
2. Put the starting switch on ON position. Put the throttle lever of the butterfly valve on IDLE position.
3. Put your hand on the throttle lever handle and pull the starter cable in outside direction as long as you don't feel some re-
sistance, than pull firmly the cable.
Pull the throttle lever handle as long as the engine starts up. Once the engine has started up, move the choking lever on the
open position.
4.Once you have started up the engine, leave it on for a few moments before you start to use the hedgetrimmer.

NOTE
1. Do not completely pull the starting rope.
2.Do not dropout the starting rope from its maximum extension.
START UP THE HEDGETRIMMER
BE CAREFUL ! Read the SAFETY INSTRUCTION on pg. 13 concerning the proper use of the hedgetrimmer.
AMA Garden hedgetrimmers are designed to trim and cut leaves and branches up to 5mm diameter. The hed-
getrimmer could cut bigger branches but this would increase the risk of braking or worn out the machine.
BE CAREFUL ! Always wear gloves and protective clothes when you use the hedgetrimmer.
If the blades get stuck, stop immediately the engine. Before you check any possible failure on the machine make
sure all moving parts have reached a complete stop and immediately disconnect the spark plug
Do not use the hedgetrimmer with broken or cracked blades.
