18 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
18.1 For best use of refrigerator and battery saving:
• Avoid leaving the door open.
• Try to charge the refrigerator always before traveling, so while running there
will be no problem with battery consumption.
• During use always keep the refrigerator charged, even if it is with water
bottles. This way, when the vehicle is stopped and the products are already
cold, the refrigerator will run less time and the battery consumption will be
lower.
Tip: For battery saving, we recommend using the thermostat at temperature 5,
keeping the refrigerator at a temperature and frozen food in the freezer.
Whenever ice builds up on the inner sides of the freezer, with a thickness of
more than three centimeters, it is recommended to defrost. To defrost, just turn
off the refrigerator. Do not use sharp or sharp objects to scrape the ice.
18.2 Defrosting and cleaning
Whenever ice builds up on the inner sides of the freezer, with a thickness of
more than three centimeters, it is recommended to defrost. To defrost, just turn
off the refrigerator. Do not use sharp or sharp objects to scrape the ice.
To clean the refrigerator, use water and mild soap. Do not use chemical
detergents (alcohol, solvents, etc.), abrasive products or hard sponges. Non-
recommended procedures may stain and damage the surfaces and coating of
the refrigerator.
