1. PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Vonroc sunshade is made in such a way that it
meets the dimensions when in tensioned position
(with a maximum deviation of -3%). The dimen-
sions are determined by the distance between the
outer points of the corners (D-ring to D-ring). The
concave-cut side edges ensure optimum tension of
the sunshade.
2. ASSEMBLY
Determine the position of the sunshade
If possible, install the sunshade in a sheltered
place with little wind. Use for example the shelter
of a wall or a hedge. When determining your po-
sition, take into account the position of the sun at
different times.
Determine the final attachment points (Fig. A)
Lay out the sunshade on the spot where it should
be placed and choose the most ideal mounting
points for the corners. It is important to have sturdy
mounting points and that they are pointed to the
center of the sunshade. The following can serve as
mounting points: walls, trees, poles, balustrades,
balconies or ground anchors. If you have any
doubts about the sturdiness of a construction, you
should consult an expert. Use the mounting materi-
al that is most suitable for your situation.
When determining the position, take into account
that there is at least 40 cm of space in each corner
to put the sunshade under tension. If you want to
bridge greater distances, you can use a stainless
steel cable or a cord to bridge the distance be-
tween the point of the sunshade and the mounting
point. Advice is to limit this to a maximum of +/-
120 cm.
Do not use screws or anchors closer than
10 cm from the edge or corner (wall,
window, door, etc.).
Tensioning the sunshade (fig. B)
Start by attaching 1 corner of the sunshade to your
chosen mounting point (do not tension yet). Repeat
for the other corners. Make sure the sunshade
is centered between the mounting points. Minor
deviations can quickly cause irregularities such as
folds.

For waterproof and water repellent
sunshades, make sure that the sunshade is
attached at an angle of at least 15 degrees
and is stretched sufficiently tight. Rainwa-
ter must be able to run off the fabric. Make
sure no water accumulation form to prevent
permanent damage. As a check, spray the
sunshade with water and check for optimal
drainage of the water.
Tighten the sunshade so that the wind has little
influence on it. The folds that have appeared in the
cloth through the packaging will disappear auto-
matically after a few weeks.
