Read through these operating instructions carefully prior to operating the milk frother for the first time
and store it in a safe place. Pay particular attention, in your own interest, to the safety information
in order to avoid accidents and malfunctions. Improper use, application or insufficient cleaning
and care can impair safety and result in danger for the user. cilio cannot accept any responsibility
for injuries or damage attributed to improper use.
Safety instructions
· Include this instruction manual with the appliance if it is passed on to other people.
· If the appliance is used or handled in an inappropriate manner, we cannot be held responsible
for any ensuing damage. This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Do not operate this
appliance outside.
· Check whether the type of current and the mains voltage comply with the information on the
rating label.
· Refrain from touching the milk jug, the base or the power plug when your hands are wet or moist.
· Connect the device to a properly installed power socket only. Do not use any multiple socket
that is already being used to run other appliances. The plug and cord must be dry.
· The milk frother may only be operated when monitored and used for the intended purpose of
heating and frothing as well as stirring milk.
· This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children
less than 8 years.

· Only use the milk jug in combination with the associated base and not on the stove or any other
source of heat. Only use the base with the accompanying milk jug and not with other cookware.
· Assure that the base and the bottom of the milk jug are absolutely dry during use.
· Only operate the appliance with milk and never without milk or with any other liquids.
