General safety notes
DANGER
Electric shock
Incorrect installation can lead to death or serious injuries.
▶ Protect the tool from moisture.
▶ Do not spot-drill the tool housing; use adhesive labels for
additional identification.
▶ Before using, always test the tool, mains cable and mains
plug for damage and for proper operability.
▶ Avoid bodily contact with grounded surfaces.
▶ Do not touch damaged mains cables or mains plugs. Have
them replaced immediately by an authorised skilled
person.
▶ Never modify a mains plug in any way. It must always fit
easily into the power socket.
▶ Do not use adapter plugs.
▶ Do not use the mains cable for purposes for which it was
not intended, to carry tools or hang them up, or to pull out
the mains plug.
▶ Protect the mains cable from heat, oil, acids, sharp edges
and moving tool parts.
▶ When working outside, only use extension cables that are
approved for outdoor use.
▶ Disconnect the mains plug before starting any
maintenance work on the tool.
DANGER
Fatal danger from explosion
▶ Do not use the tool close to highly combustible fluids or in
potentially explosive atmospheres (gas or dust).
