STEP 5: REMOVE THE CONTROL KNOBS
See Figure 7.
Locate the set screw inside the hole in the control knob.
NOTE: The rubber on the knob may need to be rotated
to gain access to the set screw.
Insert the 2 mm hex key into the hole and rotate the set
screw counter-clockwise until the control knob is loose
enough to remove.
Repeat steps to remove remaining control knobs.

STEP 6: REMOVE THE CONTROL KNOB BEZEL
See Figure 8.
Loosen the two black screws securing the control knob
bezel.
Remove the control knob bezel.
Repeat steps to remove remaining control knob bezels.

STEP 7: REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL
See Figures 9 and 10.
Loosen and remove the six screws and nuts securing the
control panel.
NOTE: Some models may not include nuts. For these
models, remove the screws from the threaded holes.
Carefully remove the control panel from the grill.
NOTE: Jerking the control panel away from the grill can
damage the wires behind the panel.

STEP 8: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRODE WIRES
FROM THE IGNITOR
See Figure 10.
Locate the wires going from the ignitor on the control
panel to the electrodes inside the firebox.
Carefully disconnect the wires from the ignitor.
